What is ClassDojo? Class Dojo is a behavior tracking and reporting tool that can be used in any class at any grade level

Why Use ClassDojo? ClassDojo is the easiest way for teachers to encourage students, and share their best moments with parents Teachers use ClassDojo as a communication platform to encourage students, and get parents engaged too

Great opportunity to show parents what the students are learning I can communicate (privately) through the app on class activities & special programs Great opportunity to show parents what the students are learning

Students want to be recognized! They feel apart of the program and are responsible for their points either positive or negative

Parents can see (through the Class Dojo app) how their child is performing at the touch of a button Great advocacy tool!

Sign up at ClassDojo.com and enter class rosters I copied and pasted the excel spreadsheets from my school secretary

Decide what behaviors you want to see in your classes Align your student behaviors to the school goals

Share with students what behaviors will be rewarded Students love being recognized during class!

Begin rewarding students points I will either project on the wall or tell students verbally

I communicate with parents on a weekly basis Take a picture, write a short blog and send to parents

Download and print invites for parent I gave every student a paper copy to bring home from the website to give their parents to link email to student account

It takes me less than 10 seconds to reward students More time for teaching and less time for managing students
