Public participation Discussion

o Given that MS are at different stages of transposition with the MSP Directive, do they think that there are potential synergies between MSP development and the timelines for other marine/coastal legislative requirements as outlined in the timetable? o If so, what are they? o How might transboundary projects such as Celtic Seas Partnership and Baltic SCOPE work together to facilitate the exchange of best practice for public participation in different areas relating to MSP implementation? Could this be reflected in the work programmes of the Expert Groups? o For the ICM Experts, are there examples of stakeholder facilitation that could be utilised in other areas? Suggestion of cross-border pilot to consider some particular issues.
