Policies/Expectations Late work – I do not accept late work for a grade. Absences – students are responsible for obtaining the make-up work and have 3 days to turn in the work. Use the web site. No food or drink – plain water allowed *This policy stems from a rodent / insect infestation! Ugh!

Grading Policy Determined using category percentages: Homework (classwork, homework, short assignments) 20% Quiz (vocabulary, reading quizzes, notebook checks, projects) 30% Test (tests, essays, projects) 50%

Extra Credit Students have the opportunity to earn 5 points extra credit on weekly vocabulary quizzes (Be sure to read the Vocabulary Requirements to learn more!) During the course of the year, students will be given the opportunity to earn bonus points through various in-class activities. Beyond the above mentioned options, there is no extra credit for the course.
