The night I met adam Peaty mbe By Alice stone

Does anybody know who adam Peaty is? Started to swim aged 14. Trained hard for 8 years to win team gb's first Olympic gold medal in Rio 2016. Here is a short clip to show 8 years of hard work in just 57 seconds! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsGHSe6N06w

What can we learn from adam Peaty? To be the best we can be we have to work incredibly hard. Adam swims for 35 hours a week and then is in the gym for an extra 15 hours a week. He spent 8 years to show the world how good he is in 57 seconds. We must listen to others that want to help. I met Adam's coach Melanie who has trained him every day for 8 years. She tells him what to do. To be healthy. Adam has a very good diet!

Adam peaty It was so cool to meet adam. I met him after his talk and wore his gold medal! He signed my swim cap and daddy got carried away and bid In a charity auction for me to swim with him and be trained by his coach for an hour and we won adam's swim cap from the Rio Olympics. He signed it for me.

Me with adam and his Olympic medals One day I will have one
