FCC UWB Certifications July 2005 FCC UWB Certifications The FCC does not appear to have the same level of angst about certifying transmitters classified as UWB and operating below 1 GHz as may have been expressed in 802.15.4a Out of the 45 current certified UWB transmitters 32 transmit with a lower frequency limit that is significantly below 1,000 MHz Ref: FCC Equipment Authorization System Generic Search web site
