PDE5A is expressed by podocytes. PDE5A is expressed by podocytes. RNA and protein were isolated from cultured podocytes and renal mouse cortex; subsequently, (A) PCR and (B) Western blot were performed to determine PDE5A expression in these samples. Glomerular PDE5A expression was confirmed by immunofluorescence staining of PDE5A.
