Internal Sovereignty The relationship between a sovereign power and it’s own subjects. Is it legitimate By what right does it have authority By Devine right By natural right Was it given this power by another

What Gives God Sovereignty Nothing gives God sovereignty He had it from before man’s entrance Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." Deity is before all things that we refer to as the beginning

We must Submit To Him In All Things James 4:7-10 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Even The Laws Of Man 1 Peter 2:13-17 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men — 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all people. Younger Submit to Elders 1 Peter 5:5-7 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Wives Submissive To Husbands 1 Peter 3:1-6 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward — arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel — 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

Members of Church Must Obey The Elders Heb 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive , for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Lip service is not enough We must follow their leadership Obey their rule and authority just as we obey God
