K'Nex Green Energy Shaw STEM Lab 2013

Introduction Water wheels, windmills and solar power have become extremely vital to our power supply, especially here in Nevada! Hydroelectric, wind power and solar power are three of the Renewable or Green Energies.

First thing first… Before you start building, make sure you read the entire PowerPoint! Don’t forget to complete all the necessary parts required.

About K’Nex If you’ve never used or built with K’Nex, check out this helpful guide on how they can connect!

About K’Nex Next to the K’Nex area there are tubs for you to gather your parts and to store your pieces. Do NOT take your project apart!

About K’Nex Some of the K’Nex pieces pictured in the instructions will be different color than the K’Nex we have. Be sure you are looking at the color AND the K’Nex piece. If you can’t find some of the K’Nex pieces; you may need to check them out from Mr. Ochs.

Do It! Look on our class website for the K’Nex instructions. Be sure to read and answer the questions associated with the K’Nex project you’ve built. After you’ve built and tested your project, select a new project to build and test.
