What is the PTCE? Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam Fulfills the "Qualifying Documentation" requirement for the application to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Who can apply for licensure? Anyone who has a... High school diploma or GED Can disclose all criminal and State Board of Pharmacy registration/licensure actions Comply with all applicable PTCB certification policies Passing score on the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)

When can you take the PTCE? There are many different times you will be able to choose from to take the examination. No set time in the year you must take your examination.

Where can you take the PTCE? Pearson VUE Professional Centers Closest Centers Lake Forest - 7.5 miles away from Irvine Anaheim - 9.9 miles away from Irvine

Logistics 90 Multiple Choice Questions 110 Minutes to answer (1 hour and 50 minutes) 10 out of 90 do not count toward the score (they are pilot questions) No penalty for guessing 5 minute tutorial before and 5 minute survey after the test Total of 120 minutes ( two hours)
