What is the Council of Chambers of Commerce. Region of Valencia? Five Chambers of Commerce. CCC: A consultative and collaborative organism for the Regional Government and other autonomous institutions for the representation, management and coordination of the CCIs in the Valencia Region. Mision: - To coordinate the activities of the 5 CCIs in the Region. - To carry out the Regional policies regarding enterprises development. - To play a key role as revitalization agent for the economy and the business development.

The Region of Valencia (Spain) 4.470.885 inhabitants 2003 (10,6 with regard to Spain). 23.305 sq2 (4,6 with regard to Spain). GDP: 78.364 mill.€ (10,4 with regard to Spain). Services (63%), industry (23%) and construction (10%). 2.686 sun hours per year (80% sunny days). 2 international airports (One more in project). 20 millions of touristic trips per year . 4,94 millions of foreign tourists per year. 500 q. of seacoast: 38 sports ports, 21 golf fields.

A global project: the main objcetives of the partnership between Kusadasi and Valencia. Phase I The KUTAP I: To define a diagnostic. Start-up the Action Plan. To strengthen the frame of dialogue between the KCC, the Municipality, the Regional Government and the civil society (2002 – 2003) Phase II The KUTAP II: Increasing the technical capacity of the Kusadasi Chamber of Commerce through the implementation of quality services for the enterprises. (2004 – 2005)

The KUTAP II: Increasing the technical capacity of the Kusadasi Chamber of Commerce through the implementation of quality services for the enterprises. Commercial Action Plan (KUTAP), methodology transfer to KCC based on the plans developed by the Chambers of Commerce in Valencia Region, with the main objective to adapt this experience to Kusadasi‘s reality. To improve the technical capacity of the KCC in order to prepare the Kusadasi Chamber to lead the development and the implementation of the Strategic Plan. To strengthen the frame of dialogue and participation between the KCC, the Municipality, the Regional Government and the civil society.

To promote the culture of the quality: seminars, training activities, enterprises meetings, transfer of good practices. Provides information, procedures and management to the companies, technical assistance and support services on implementation of quality systems, improvement plans and certification.
