WHY DID THEY NOT CALL ON THE LORD? JOB 21:13-15 13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. 14 Yet they say to God, Depart from us, for we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. 15 Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?

WHO DID NOT CALL ON THE LORD? PSALMS 14:1-4 1 The fool said in his heart there is no God. They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none that does good. 2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

WHO DID NOT CALL ON THE LORD? PSALMS 14:1-4 3 They are all gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There is none that does good no, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? They eat up My people as they eat bread and call not upon the Lord. (PSALMS 53:4)

WHO DID NOT CALL ON THE LORD? PSALMS 79:5-6 5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry for ever? How long, Lord? Shall your jealousy burn like fire? 6 Pour out Your wrath upon the heathen that have not known you and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.

WHO DID NOT CALL ON THE LORD? ISAIAH 43:21-22 21 This people have I formed for Myself, that they should show forth My praise. 22 BUT Jacob you have not called upon Me. BUT Israel you have been weary of me.

WHY DID THEY NOT CALL ON THE LORD? ISAIAH 64:6-7 6 We are all as an unclean thing. All our righteousness are as filthy rags. We all do fade as a leaf and our iniquities, like the wind have taken us away. 7 There is none that calls upon Your name; none that stirs up himself to take hold of You. You have hid Your face from us and You have consumed us because of our iniquities.

WHO DID NOT CALL ON THE LORD? JEREMIAH 10:21 21 The pastors are become brutish. They have not sought the Lord. Therefore they shall not prosper and all their flocks shall be scattered. JEREMIAH 10:25 25 Pour out Your fury on the heathen that know You not and upon the families that call not on Your name. They have eaten up Jacob devoured him and consumed him and have made his habitation desolate.

WHY DID THEY NOT CALL ON THE LORD? DANIEL 9:11-14 11 All Israel has transgressed Your law by departing that they might not obey Your voice. Therefore the curse is poured upon us and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God because we have sinned against Him. 12 He has confirmed His words which He spoke against us and against our judges that judged us; by bringing upon us a great evil for under the whole heaven has not been done as has been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses; all this evil is come upon us. Yet we made not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand your truth. 14 Therefore the Lord has watched upon the evil and brought it upon us. For the Lord our God is righteous in all His works which He does and we obeyed not His voice.

WHY DID THEY NOT CALL ON THE LORD? JONAH 1:6 6 The shipmaster came to Jonah and said, What are you doing, O sleeper? Arise and call upon your God; if so be that God will think upon us that we perish not. ZEPHANIAH 1:6 6 They are turned back from the Lord. They have not sought the Lord nor inquired for Him.

WHO SHALL CALL ON THE LORD? JOEL 2:28-32 28 It shall come to pass that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions. 29 Upon the servants and handmaids I will pour out My Spirit. 30 I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth blood, fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. 32 It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be delivered. For in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance as the Lord has said and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

WHO SHALL THEY CALL ON THE LORD? ACTS 2:16-21 16 This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. 17 It shall come to pass in the last days, said God. I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams. 18 On my servants and handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit and they shall prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood; before that great and notable day of the Lord come. 21 It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (JOEL 2:28-32)

HOW SHALL THEY CALL ON THE LORD? ROMANS 10:13-21 13 Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? 15 How shall they preach except they are sent? As it is written: how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 BUT they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias said Lord, who has believed our report? 17 So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

HOW WAS THE LORD MANIFESTED TO THEM? ROMANS 10:13-21 18 But I say have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth and their words to the ends of the world. 19 But I say, did not Israel know? First Moses said I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people and by a foolish nation I will anger you. 20 But Esaias is very bold, saying, I was found of them that sought me not. I was made manifest to them that asked not after me. 21 But to Israel he said, all day long I have stretched forth my hands to a disobedient and gainsaying people.

WHO CALLED ON THE LORD? 1 CORINTHIANS 1:2 2 To the Church of God which is at Corinth; to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus; called to be saints with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord both theirs and ours.

WHY DO YOU CALL ME LORD, LORD AND DO NOT THE THINGS WHICH I SAY? MATTHEW 7:21-23 21 Not every one that says to me Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. But he that does the will of My Father which is in Heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? And in Your name have cast out devils? And in Your name done many wonderful works? 23 Then I will profess to them I never knew you, depart from Me you that work iniquity. LUKE 6:46 46 Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord and do not the things which I say?

WHY MUST YOU BE BORN AGAIN? JOHN 3:3-7 3 Jesus said to Nicodemus, verily, verily, I say to you except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said to Jesus how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? 5 Jesus answered verily, verily, I say to you; except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. AND that which is born of the spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I say to you. You must be born again.

HOW SHALL THEY BE SAVED? MARK 16:15-16 15 Jesus said to the Apostles go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved but He that believes not shall be damned. MATTHEW 28:19-20 19 Go, teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. Lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen.

HOW WAS NOAH AND HIS FAMILY SAVED? 1 PETER 3:20-21 20 Once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah while the ark was a preparing wherein few, that is eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us NOT the putting away of the filth of the flesh BUT the answer of a good conscience toward God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

HAVE YOU BEEN BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST? GALATIANS 3:26&27 6 You are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. TITUS 3:5 5 NOT by works of righteousness which we have done BUT according to His mercy He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. ACTS 22:16 16 NOW why do you tarry? Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
