Training Staff

Finding solutions with local people The Innovation Conference, an idea generated by a Community Ambassador, empowers local people to improve health and wellbeing for residents. Community Ambassadors are involved with all stages of planning, deciding on bids, on the day participation and further support if projects require it.

What are people saying Subrat Sunger, Community Ambassador “I have very much enjoyed contributing my thoughts and experiences to improve the services offered to the community and helping to make a positive difference. I am so proud to be part of a fantastic team.” Sarah Harraway, Project Manager “The ambassadors have been invaluable in enabling the collection of Patient Reported Outcome Measures data for our evaluations.” Clare Gunn, Project Manager “Community Ambassadors are always a positive addition to any event which I have attended as they are not paid to do the job. Their enthusiasm to be there shines through.” Valerie Fabry, Community Ambassador “It has never been about being told or waiting in a line to be heard. From the beginning it has been about a shared respect and ownership.”
