Packaging Design & PCB Layout - Force sensors will be attached under the fingertips - Accelerometer will be attached on the fingers - Finger motion is detected using accelerometers - Finger touch is detected using pressure sensors

Battery Charger - MAX1555 - Polymer Li-Ion Battery, 3.7V - Charge battery from USB bus power

Bluetooth - WML-C40 - Internally step down to 3.3V - UART interface

Buttons&Crystal Resonator

Force Sensor - Rs = Sensor Resistance (At no load = 5M) - Vout = -Vs*(Rf/Rs) - Rf = 300K - Rs = Sensor Resistance (At no load = 5M) - As force increases on the sensor, Rs decreases - Maximum Vout = 5V

Accelerometer - Both digital and analog output <ADXL213 Block Diagram> - 1.2g dual axis accelerometer - Both digital and analog output - However, input resistance is very high to use analog output

Accelerometer filter - This reduces input resistance - Voltage buffer - This reduces input resistance - Voltage gain is one - AD8532 - Rail-to-rail input/ouput - Slew rate : 5V/us
