ESF award 2018: European funding for excellence in VET When: European Vocational Skills Week 2018 (5-9 November 2018 in Vienna) How: Managing Authorities to apply via EUsurvey to be shared with ESF Committee – maximum two applications per Member State When: Call to be launch during the week of 23/04 through the ESF Committee Deadline for applications: 13 June 2018 All applications should be submitted in English.

ESF award: which projects? (1) Topics to be covered Future of work and skills, in light of the digital transformation Re-skilling or up-skilling of all, including adult learners Education and business partnerships to improve the labour market relevance of education Addressing skills gaps

ESF award: which projects? (2) Applications should highlight (where relevant): Implementing innovative pedagogies Potential to be replicated elsewhere Sustainability of the project

Selection of projects Two nominees to be selected by a Jury (week of 25 June) Both nominees will be invited to Vienna Winner to be selected: Jury’s vote (40%), Open vote (40%), vote during the Skills Week (20%)

To sum up 18 april 2018: presentation in the ESF TWG Week of 23 April 2018: launch of the call for projects (via EUsurvey) Deadline for applications: 13 June 2018 Week of 25 June: jury to select two nominees 8-9 November 2018: gala dinner and award ceremony
