To interact with UPLift! view as a Slide Showhere This section of UPLift! is aimed at all students. It focuses on how you can make effective use of freely available internet services. For example, it will help you to identify a range of alternative Google services such as Google Books and Google Scholar and when its appropriate to use them for your studies. Perhaps you know how to do some of these things already? Take the short quiz to find out. Perhaps you need to develop a particular skill? Take the link to find out more. Alternatively you can find good quality, subscription based sites on the Deep Web (i.e. parts of the web not searched by searched engines). You will find many of these on the library web pages, for instance, databases, electronic book suppliers, image sites and specialist data such as marketing reports or standards.
