Glasgow Premier Inn, George Street, Glasgow Scottish National Implementation Group for the Pre-registration Nursing Programmes Wednesday 7 November, 2012 Glasgow Premier Inn, George Street, Glasgow Innovation in the Scottish Pre-Registration Nursing Education Programmes During 2010/11, NHS Education for Scotland (NES) facilitated a series of workshops supporting Programme Providers to debate opportunities and challenges presented by implementation of the new NMC Standards and programmes. Building upon those early workshops, the Scottish National Implementation Group is hosting this event in order to reflect upon experiences of the new programmes from the perspectives of students, mentors and academic staff. The aim of this event is to enable participants to reflect upon their experiences of the new graduate programmes in Scotland in order to inform and shape future programme developments. Workshop themes: Health and social care integration Graduate attributes Competence in practice Student role in education: ownership and engagement The event is free of charge and includes lunch, however places are limited.
