Parts Of Speech Day 1

Supplies per student 1 Glue 1 Scissors 4 different colors/highlighters/etc.

1. Cut both papers down the dotted line.

2. Fold all of the solid lines.

3. Glue Foldables into notebook

4. Glue the paragraph inside the foldable

Nouns: Write the definition of a noun. (Person, place, thing, or idea)

Highlight the nouns in the paragraph with your first color

Under the nouns corner, write down these ways you can use nouns to make your writing better!

Write the definition of Verbs on the verbs flap ( Words that show action or state of being)

Highlight the verbs in the paragraph using your second color

Record these ways to improve your writing using verbs!
