Chapter 2. Team Assignment Due Monday 9/24/18

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES— TEAM WORK: Comparing Agricultural Beginnings PART 1. Each group will be assigned one of the below societies to describe: 3 Societies with roots in the Agricultural Revolution Village-based Agricultural societies (a.k.a. stateless) Pastoral societies Chiefdoms (a.k.a. Chieftains) TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES— Provide a thoughtful description of the society by answering the following THREE questions (use the Margin Question format): How did their life compare with that of a hunter-gather? What were the social features of your society? Why did they organize themselves as they did? E1: Provide evidence (an example) of the society that represents the Neolithic group that you have been assigned. 2. In addition, each of the above questions should be identified as one of the following question types: CHANGE, COMPARISON, DESCRIPTION, CONNECTION. Remember a description of each of these questions types are on the class-room wall, in the Strayer book and on my Bx Science page in the APW1 Format PPT slide presentation. 3. Teams are also to provide evidence (examples) of societies that represent the Neolithic group that they have been assigned. Each team is to hand in their team-generated answers to this assignment.
