Restoring 300 acres of green space and planting 20,000 street trees. Investing £221 million to transform local high streets, supporting small businesses. Securing a better deal for London from No 10.

Membership drawn from business and Local Authorities Growth & competitiveness remit Driving investment in Mayor’s regen schemes And a new Skills & Employment Working Group Remit: - to provide strategic investment to support private sector growth and employment; - Promote enterprise and innovation and the acquisition of skills for sustained employment in London; - Protect and enhance London’s competitiveness. Can London do more? Work together, work smarter. Innovation, collaboration and alignment to increase impact. Maximise our combined purchasing power via local procurement and use of “social clauses” Develop a shared “London voice” to lever real change to the design and delivery of public services in London. Perhaps setting a big challenge for LAs and partners to do deals, work together, stop complaining and sort things out – cos govt won’t come to the rescue!”
