What Jesus Thinks Of The Church In Pergamos – Revelation 2:12-17

I Know Your Works And Where You Dwell Where Satan’s throne is

Commendation – “I know” They had held fast to Christ’s name They did not deny Him even though Antipas had been killed for Christ sake. This type of faithfulness is commanded by Christ – Matthew 10:28-33

Admonition – “Nevertheless” Identifying with Christ is a start but not all that’s required. We must also identify with His teachings Two other doctrines were held to Balaam – Disregard for God’s commands; greed; sexual immorality; idolatry Nicolaitins – Possibly similar to Balaam’s but definitely opposed to Christ’s doctrine
