Putting the pieces together….

School Leadership Expectations: clearly expressed at weekly meetings. Communication: weekly email updates. Accountability: lesson plans, data spreadsheets, posted objectives, evaluations.

BT Essentials BT Calendar: We stick to the calendar. Objectives & Essential Questions: Posted in the classroom. Academic Vocabulary: Incorporate into classroom word wall from unwrapped documents.

BT Essentials (Cont’d) Formatives: Administer in correlation to the planning calendar. Reteach & Enrich: Freedom to plan according to what works per grade level. Daily Math Skills: Completed daily, logged, and turned in at the end of the month.

Copper View Essentials PBIS/Goals: Support positive behavior by setting SMART goals. Student Data Notebooks: Each grade level uses a data notebook that is specific to their grade. Parent-(Student)-Teacher Conferences: Conferences are led through the use of student data notebooks. Report Cards: Aligned to BT calendar.

Monitor and Adjust Report Card Committee: District meeting to make sure the report card is aligned to the new BT calendar. Grade level teachers give input and feedback. Grade Level Meetings: Grade levels meet weekly to plan and meet monthly with our principal and specialists to review student data. Go with the flow or use the force: monitor and adjust!
