Thermoelectricity in ferrolfuids and ionic liquids Novel thermoelectric phenomena in complex liquids Fundamental knowledge for application in “Renewal Energy” Interdisciplinary: condensed matter and liquid physics, physical and electro-chemistry, renewable energy
What will you do during the intern project? Experimental!! Measure thermoelectric coefficients, electric and thermal conductivities (liquid sample preparation, data acquisition & data analysis and interpretation) Very basic electrochemical characterizations (impedance, microbalance, etc.) Possibility of numerical simulation Desired competence: Condensed matter physics, liquid physics, physical chemistry (thermodynamics) Experimentalist, PhD candidates preferred (funding available)
