Basic-PSA Mechanical Snubber Grease PSA-NRRG-2 WE SUPPORT THE WORLD Presented By: Grant Nelson VP of Sales & Service Basic-PSA, Inc. 11/27/2018

PSA-NRRG-2 Introduction Through joint efforts with NYE Lubricants and JPL/NASA Laboratories working in conjunction with Basic-PSA, Inc., we are pleased to present PSA-NRRG-2 Mechanical Snubber Grease, the replacement grease to NRRG-159. Test results prove that PSA-NRRG-2 is a significantly superior grease for use in Basic-PSA Mechanical Snubbers. 11/27/2018

Qualification / Radiation The radiation qualification process was performed to meet the requirements of Basic-PSA, Inc's Mechanical Snubber Design Specification. There was no significant change in percentage of weight loss in the radiated samples. In addition, each radiated sample remained stable in an oxygen environment for 24 hours at 350° F with no exothermic reaction. 11/27/2018

Absolute Viscosity, cP Data 11/27/2018

Qualification / Evaporation The evaporation qualification process exceeded the initial prior testing of NRRG-159 in time exposure by approximately 2,200 hours. The test results for evaporation rates exposed to 300°F in an open air environment were considerably improved as in comparison with the former NRRG-159 data. 11/27/2018

Summary In summary, PSA-NRRG-2 is better than or equal to the former NRRG-159 Mechanical Snubber Grease and is the recommended replacement grease for use in Basic-PSA Mechanical Snubbers. Through extensive testing, the PSA-NRRG-2 is a like for like replacement and is now available to all Basic-PSA Mechanical Snubber users. In support of individual Preventative Maintenance Programs. Time vs. Temperature Grease curves are available upon request. 11/27/2018
