St Valentines Day Word One story suggests that during his imprisonment Valentine became friends with the daughter of his guard. Legend has it that on the day of his execution, in an act of love towards his supposed enemy he left the jailer's daughter a note signed: "Your Valentine"

St Valentines Day Dismiss Perhaps one way to be faithful to this tradition would be to find creative ways of demonstrating acts of love toward our 'enemies’. Maybe this year you could write a note of encouragement to someone unlikely and sign it "Your Valentine"
