It’s not easy for small companies to: navigate the maze of European and national legislation…. overcome language barriers to find new markets and partners abroad recognise the innovation potential in their businesses and profit from their ideas be able to find and secure European financing, grants and funding Where can they turn? 14

Finansira Evropska komisija u okviru programa COSME (2014-2020) They can turn to the Enterprise Europe Network. A business support service for European SMEs. The Enterprise Europe Network was set up in February 2008 by the European Commission’s Enterprise & Industry Directorate-General. It is a key instrument of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), which focuses on supporting SMEs in their growth and innovation activities. The Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) is responsible for managing the Network on a daily basis. 15

“One-stop shop” za evropska MSP Praktična pomoć organizacija u državi The Network is a one-stop shop for European companies. With just one phone call or click on a website, entrepreneurs can talk to our experts to get the answers to any questions they have about making the most of their opportunities in Europe. It’s practical help in their own language from people who know the business landscape. The Network listens to small businesses and feeds their opinions back to the European Commission. This helps make sure new policies are designed with their needs in mind. 16

600 partnerskih organizacija u The Network’s resources are formidable. It’s made up of 570 partner organisations in 44 countries. The partner organisations include chambers of commerce, enterprise agencies, regional development organisations, research institutes, universities, technology centres and innovation centres. 3,000 experts work in the Network. The Network’s power lies in connecting all of these people and organisations - all at the service of European small businesses. 600 partnerskih organizacija u 53 države 17

Kako mogu dobiti finansiranje iz EU fondova? Kako ću pronaći novo tržište u inostranstvu? Potreban mi je poslovni partner u drugoj državi… Kako mogu prodati moje inovativne ideje i tehnologiju? We help with questions like these every day! The Network provides information on EU legislation and funding, helps companies find business partners, especially in other countries, and offers advice on how to develop an innovative idea. The Network can also help to maximise your chances of success when you’re tendering for EU contracts or funding. The Network has access to two powerful databases to help companies: one for business partnerships and one for technology transfer. Company profiles and offers are inserted into the databases and are then made available to the whole Network. Partners use the databases to search for the right match for their clients and then help them to reach partnership or technology transfer agreements. The databases now contain around 7,000 profiles. They are updated on a weekly basis and the technology and partnership offers are communicated to SMEs through newsletters, media advertising and websites. Šta ovaj EU zakon znači za moje poslovanje? 18
