This was set up by United Nations in 1954 to encourage all countries to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide.

Children in Need Good morning everyone. Primary 7 pupils and staff would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of the people who helped us to raise the amazing total of £2333.16, a new record for Papdale! We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s contribution and without everyone coming and supporting us on the day. We had a brilliant day and have really enjoyed raising money for such a worthwhile cause. We hope you all enjoyed visiting our stalls. The closing date for the Pudsey colouring in competition is this Friday 24th November. Please give any entries to your teacher who can pass them on to Mr Hill. We will come around classes this week with any prizes won on the day, including any raffle prizes. Once again thank you all for your support!!

Papdale’s Got Talent Good morning everyone. This week will see our Papdale’s Got Talent Semi-finalists battle it out for a place in the final. All semi-finals will be held outside the Primary 7 classrooms. Primary 1 and 2 semi-finals will be on Tuesday 21st November at break time. This is Jessie and Paige, Hannah and Rowan, Team Sparkle, Rhian and Chloe and James. Primary 3 and 4 semi-finals will be on Wednesday 22nd November at breaktime. This is Millie and Rosa, Mighty Marshmallows, Team Bob and Mia.

Papdale’s Got Talent Primary 5 and 6 semi-finals will be on Thursday 23rd November at breaktime. This is Leah and Georgia, Abbie and Amy, Tumbling Two, Keira, TNSA and Rhiannon. Primary 7 semi-finals will be on Friday 24th November at breaktime. This is Soma and Freya and Ailsa and Erica. These will be held outside the Primary 7 classrooms, please try to arrive promptly.

Well done to… Innes and Amelie for taking part in the Stromness Swimming Time Trials at the weekend. Innes won a bronze, silver and a gold medal for his swims, and Amelie was first overall in the 200m race, and she also secured a new PB (personal best).
