Membership and tasks of results groups in Namibia

Results groups consist of: UN – M&E group consisting of 1 member from each participating agency Government – NPC and members from participating Ministries

4 pillars of the UNPAF consist out of Institutional Environment Pillar Education & Skills Pillar Health Pillar Poverty Reduction Pillar

Members of the UN M&E group along with NPC agree on the tracking system and targets that will be used to review and analyze activities, outcomes and outputs to determine whether they are on track as per work plan

M&E group request UN agencies to submit data and evidence of activities done to analyze, review and discuss Simultaneously NPC will request participating ministries to submit their data and evidence on their activities and discuss progress

M&E group and NPC now sit together and review, analyze and reconcile data obtained from both the UN agencies as well as Government ministries and write a report on progress

The report is then represented to the UNCT who, together with NPC, review, analyze and finalize.

Only after both the UN as well as Government agree on the contents of the report will it be published, not before. No matter how long it takes…
