I Can Keep My Hands to Myself By: Janine Lock
I have a lot of friends at school.
Sometimes when I am close to my friends at circle time, I want to touch them.
My teacher wants me to keep my hands in my lap.
This helps me listen and watch my teacher.
Sometimes I touch my friends and they say “Stop!”
I should listen and put my hands down.
Friends don’t want me to touch their face.
Friends don’t want me to touch their arms.
Friends don’t want me to touch their chair.
Friends don’t want me to touch their legs.
I keep my hands down at circle time, exercise, lunch, snack and story time.
