Plan of Action before the next ISO Plenary Meeting 1) ROADMAP Finalise the Roadmap by the end of October 2016 2) UNISDR COLLABORATION Review relevance of current projects, identify NWIP to support implementation of the Sendai Framework on DRR by end of November 2016. DC Mirror Committees to engage national DRR platforms by December 2016 ISO Secretariat and UNISDR meeting at a strategic level.

Plan of Action before the next ISO Plenary Meeting 3) COMMUNICATION Focus on communication internally within DCCG and externally to promote the work of the DCCG Webex meetings to be held on a monthly basis and focus on specific topics Agree on a process to share information between members by March 2017 Provide “Success DC’s Stories” for purposes of the TC292 website It is indicated the need for Workshop for Experts in the next ISO Meeting in Korea Propose a workshop between plenaries Propose a workshop on the next plenary WG 3 – early warning system Prepare a template

Plan of Action before the next ISO Plenary Meeting 4) STRATEGY TO DEMONSTRATE AND ENSURE UNIQUE CONTRIBUTION OF DCCG TO TC292 Assessment of extent of participation of DCCG members in current activities of TC292 Agree on process to discuss comments, share views, success stories and show impact on DC’s Encourage active participation in WG’s and project teams and providing feedback to all DCCG members. Monitoring mechanism to determine impact of TC 292 activities in DC’s

Recommendations to ISO/TC 292 plenary Support the implementation of the “Project oriented” funding model, Motivate for criteria to be inclusive (eg eligibility of convenors, secretaries, etc) Propose a strategic meeting between ISO Central Secretariat and UNISDR USG to highlight priorities of DCs in the field of standardisation for DRR Encourage twinning at the Working Group level between Developed and DCs Support a DCCG workshop to be held during the Korea Plenary with the support from ISO/TC292 Schedule adequate time for DCCG during Plenary meeting Providing feedback by TC Secretariat

NEXT MEETING OF THE DCCG The next in-person-meeting of the DCCG will take place with the next Plenary meeting of TC 292. The next WebEx meeting, will be held before the end of October 2016, to get feedback on the UNISDR priorities
