Shop Safety Shop Cleanup…

Clutter… Don’t allow it to accumulate, it provides areas for dust to gather Gets into the way while working increasing the risk of an accident Causes tripping hazards.

Cleaning Work Areas… Do not use compressed air or your hands Air can blow particles or sawdust into your eyes Using hands can lead to cuts or splinters Use a hand brush

Cleaning floors… Ensure the floor is swept and the waste is disposed of properly Reduces slip and fall hazards and fuel for possible fires

Equipment & Material Storage… When finished place your project in designated area Will help protect your work Reduces overall clutter

Tool Storage… Return all tools back to their assigned location Saves time Reduces overall clutter
