Creating Biological Drawings

Biological drawings are what you see in the field of view of a microscope. Clearly seen structures/organelles are labelled. Information on magnification power, estimated size of cell and preparation of specimen are included.

Elodea Leaf Cell stained with Iodine Known Information: Ocular Lens: 10x Objective Lens: 40x (high power) Magnification Power: (ocular x objective): 400 x Estimated size of one Elodea cell: 1/3 of field of view FOV for 400x: 450 μm Size of one cell: 150 μm

Prepared Liver Cell (stained with Methylene Blue) at High Power (40x) Draw appropriate biological drawing. Include: Labels of clearly seen organelles/structures Title Description: Preparation of specimen Magnification power Size of one cell (μm)
