Biodiversity -Biodiversity refers to the collective variety of living organisms in an ecosystem -an ecosystem is the collection of biotic and abiotic components in a given area

Ecosystem Changes -an ecosystem can be influenced by changes in habitat, such as: -climatic changes -fire -flood -invasion by organisms from another system -The more biodiversity in an ecosystem, the greater its stability and resiliency. -Scientists often use models to study ecosystems and biodiversity
