DEFINITION OF INTEGRITY greek: tumma- completeness, sincerity of heart, innocence, honesty of heart the intention of our heart behind our actions Our WORDS AND ACTIONS will reveal our heart! will reflect our integrity – or lack of it

Integrity: adherence to moral and ethical principles, soundness of moral character; honesty… the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished… sound, unimpaired or perfect condition Synonyms: honesty, truth, truthfulness, honor, veracity, reliability, and uprightness

Integrity is the expression of God’s character revealed in us, and that character is the beauty of His perfection- His holiness. Holiness is the essence of His nature. It is not something He does or doesn’t do. It is who he is!

  REWARDS OF INTEGRITY

SECURITY He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known. Proverbs 10:9

GUIDED WELL The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Proverbs 11:3

CHILDREN ARE BLESSED The righteous man walks in his integrity, his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7

WE ARE BETTER PEOPLE Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich. Proverbs 19:1

OUR LEADERSHIP IS ESTABLISHED As for you, if you walk before me faithfully with integrity of heart and uprightness as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws, I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father… 1 Kings 9:4-5

  O God, make the king a godly judge like You, and give the king’s son the gift of justice too. Help him to give true justice to your people, honorably and equally to all. Then the mountains of influence will be fruitful and from your righteousness, prosperity and peace flow to all the people. Psalm 72:1-3
