A refractory rash in a seborrheic distribution Elena Gonzalez, BS, Steven D Billings, MD, Dr Anthony P Fernandez, MD  The Lancet  Volume 385, Issue 9979, (May 2015) DOI: 10.1016/S0140-6736(14)61902-4 Copyright © 2015 Elsevier Ltd Terms and Conditions

Figure Pemphigus foliaceus (A) Erythematous papules and plaques with scale involving the face, scalp, neck, and trunk. The scale characteristically has a “cornflake-like” quality and colour. (B) Perilesional biopsy sample for direct immunofluorescence showing IgG deposition in a net-like pattern within the epidermis. Deposition of C3 was also noted (not shown).
