Multiple Intelligences Theory Howard Gardner Eight different ways to demonstrate intellectual ability. All humans appear to possess each of the eight in some degree but some are not fully developed. Gardner claims that school curricula traditionally favour only a few of the eight intelligences. Schools could do a better job by building the curriculum to cater to, and develop, all eight intelligences. 5 5 5
