Concern For Environment Presented by Class V Orange Beaconhouse School System Allama Iqbal Town Campus Lahore, Pakistan

What is Global Warming? Global warming is when the earth heats up (the temperature rises). It happens when greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide, and methane) trap heat from the sun which increases the temperature.

How do plants help reduce Global Warming? Plants reduce global warming because in the process of photosynthesis plants take in Carbon Dioxide and creates oxygen. Carbon dioxide; being a greenhouse gas traps more heat than oxygen which therefore reduces global warming.

Awareness about Concern for environment Our school organized different events to create the awareness of environment. Earth Day Habitat Day Assembly presentations (We choose the topics and perform Tableaus, Dramas, Skits in front of the whole school.)

Our Principal Mrs. Azra Mujib, briefing the students about the issue of Global Warming and our role in reducing it.
