Planning Liz Brandon and Tom Couldridge will meet with Clive Atkins, outdoor education advisor for Waltham Forest. Liz Brandon and Tom Couldridge to complete a risk assessment of Gilwell Park (full assessment of accommodation ) Risk assessment to encompass back up plans.

Itinerary Monday 25th June 2017 Leave school (children come into school as normal) Arrive at Gilwell Park late morning Orientation of the park and accommodation Lunch (packed lunch) Team challenge Dinner (home cooked meal) Story time Dinner to be cooked by the pupils eg. Pasta, with a meaty tomato sauce, cheese and a mixed salad. NB. Meaty sauce is vegetarian

Itinerary Tuesday 26th June 2017 Breakfast Make packed lunch Activities Team challenge Leave Chingford station early afternoon Arrive at school Breakfast: children make their own breakfast and packed lunch. Team challenge: map reading and orienteering . Accommodation

Accommodation Private Lodge: Separate group leader/teacher room. Large main hall. Available equipment includes internet, TV and sound system. We aim to have a female and Male Lodge. If this is not possible then there will be a female and a male wing with separate bathrooms.

What to do now? Complete the permission slip, return by Monday 2nd November 2016 Use Parent Pay to make a non-refundable £20 deposit to secure your child’s place. Pay £5 a month Payment to be completed by March 2017.
