Setting of Blacklist 1947 Hollywood Started in 1947 when HUAC (House Committee of American Activities) began to summon certain Hollywood entertainment (TV shows, Movies).

Meaning of Blacklist Hollywood Entertainment Professionals Communist Inspired Blacklist were a list of people who are under suspicion or disfavor, or censure , or who are not to be hired, or accepted. This work was communist inspired.

HUAC Committee Film Industries House Un-American Committee, congressional committee that held hearing on the film and entertainment industries in 1938, 1947, 1953-55, and 1957-58. Held meeting on Tv shows and movies of that time.
