Summary of discussion CPA members asked over 10 questions of the Board members in attendance, Peter Wilson and Robyn Erskine. The topics discussed during the session: The way CPA Australia communicates with members. The format and content of the weekly Tax Bulletin was discussed, noting it was not engaging and duplicated content with other publications. Members find the website difficult to use, so can’t get the full value out of the available resources. Internal culture at CPA Australia, with some reports of bullying. These are being taken seriously and managed The process for managing the proposed changes to the constitution, including the timeframes and thresholds for voting The benchmarking process for remuneration of the current executive team The currently available budget, and the priorities for this to be spent in order to improve member services The current engagement between CPA Australia and universities, students and associate members, and how this can be improved Meeting CDP requirements through Toastmasters meetings Renewing memberships after the membership has lapsed Marketing, covering sponsorship of the Australian Open
