Our fun Summer day Author: Mrs. Serrano Illustrators: Lorein L.M. Simmons Brianna S.M. Simmons

At eight o’clock in the morning we ate breakfast.

This is my mom’s fruit basket This is my mom’s fruit basket. We only took fruits in our cooler because we would only spend an hour or two at the beach. After preparing the cooler we headed to the beach.

Here is my sister, she loves to see the sky above the sea and hear the sound of the ocean.

I went to swim in the blue sea and loved how the wind blew at me. Wow I went to swim in the blue sea and loved how the wind blew at me. Wow! I was able to see a starfish with my own two eyes. But in a blink of an eye the sea had taken it away.

Now my favorite animal is the starfish because I was able to see and even grab one in my hand for at least four seconds.

At four o’clock we got to the park At four o’clock we got to the park. It was beautiful, it was filled with many different flowers of all colors and sizes. The most beautiful flower was a rose.

The red rose was my sister’s favorite flower in the park The red rose was my sister’s favorite flower in the park. It didn’t cost us a cent to see all the beautiful flowers and the scent of all of them was also priceless.

Butterflies were my favorite animal, not anymore Butterflies were my favorite animal, not anymore. I saw eight of them in the park where I walked, but they did not impress me as much as the starfish at the beach.

My sister’s favorite animal is her cat My sister’s favorite animal is her cat. My aunt gave it to her a week ago, so my mom did not have to buy it. It is her favorite because it’s four paws are pink and he will pause anything he’s doing to play with any ant that passes by. After that long game with it her cat will be weak and will fall asleep.

After seeing so many flowers my mom remembered that she had to buy flour to bake my sister’s birthday cake. On the way to the store I drew my favorite flower, a pink rose I had seen in the park, and signed it with my name.
