Introduce yourself & your research/clinical/advocacy work Nicolas Oreskovic, Rachel Millstein, Olivier Drouin, Amy Comander, Beth Williams, Betsy O’Donnell: MGH Jeff Blossom: Harvard GIS Peter James: HSPH Sanouri Ursprung: MA Dept of Public Health Lisa Quintilliani from BUMC Wendy Landman from WalkBoston 29 people responded to our initial email!

Our mission (briefly) To create a centralized place for Boston (or MA)-area physical activity researchers and practitioners to share study ideas, pool data, and standardize data collection/analysis methodology. To forge new cross-disciplinary collaborations among groups interested in promoting physical activity within the Boston area, including academia, government, advocacy groups, etc. We want to be a hub to facilitate collaboration and familiarity with members’ groups and research areas. Goal of creating a broad and diverse Boston PA community from many disciplines. Ultimately collaborate on funding resources and dissemination projects.
