Gnomes, Goblins and Pegasus Welcome to Year 1 and 2 Gnomes, Goblins and Pegasus

Book changes Monday and Thursday Two books Reading records need to be in school as they will be monitored Read most days

Reading in school Guided reading will happen 3 times a week Across 2 weeks your child will read with the teacher and the TA Children that do not read at home will be added to the parent helper list

Homework Given out on a Friday Hand in on Thursday Choose one activity a week Half an hour Spellings (back of the book)

PE PE will be outside every week PE kit needs to be suitable for all weathers Days -

Water bottles Need to be in school every day Can be filled up before school, during playtime and lunchtime

Contact with the teacher Blue books (not reading records) Speak to the teacher on the door after school Please don’t come into the classroom before school
