Credit summary January 18th Advisement

February is the month!!! February is the month for registering for your classes for next school year! During your core classes (math, English, science, and social studies), your teacher will talk to you about what class to take next year and they will sign you up for that class. During advisement, you will hear how to signup for electives, pathways, Move On When Ready, and other classes you can take

Also in February…. Your parents will meet with your advisor to review graduation requirements, credits earned, and what classes you are signed up to take next year If you want to change classes from what your core teachers said you should take, your parents MUST complete a waiver request form (an example would be they put you in English Literature and you want to take AP English Literature) Your advisor will contact your parents about when to meet

Be your own advocate! Is there something wrong or missing on your transcript? Do you have a transcript? If you transferred from another school and you do not have a transcript here, you NEED to talk to your counselor! We probably did not receive an official transcript from your previous school. Ask your advisor if you have questions! They can get an answer for you.
