JOURNAL You have been drafted to serve in the Vietnam war. While in Vietnam you keep a journal to help you process your wartime experience and as a record for your family in case you don’t return home. Each paragraph must be a minimum of 10 sentences. You must use at least 12 facts from Vietnam in HD.HIGH LIGHT these when finished. Paragraph 1: Explain how you ended up in Vietnam and why you are fighting. Do you agree with the war? Explain. Describe your relationship with your fellow soldiers, be sure to write about them as individuals. Example: Give your best friends name, where he is from and what you’ve shared together in your experiences in Vietnam. Paragraph 2: Describe your job and what combat is like. (Terrain, sounds, smells, sights, weapons, casualties). Describe your relationship with your fellow soldiers, be sure to write about them as individuals. Explain who your enemy is and how they fight. Vietnam in HD Cornell Notes While viewing Vietnam in HD , take notes focusing on information that will be included in your journal. While taking notes keep in mind the following: How did individuals get pulled into the war? What were their relationships like with their comrades? What was the enemy like? What was it like being in combat? Why was this war so difficult to fight? Also, take note of key events and dates of the war.
