Open and closed groups - 3rd Session Viking Time – 6th gRade Open and closed groups - 3rd Session

What are open and closed groups? Closed groups – teacher selected; works on skills/practice or a club Open groups – student selected; students can choose group based on their interests

Viking time groups – 3rd session 3 weeks – November 26-December 18 2 days : Tuesday and Thursday during Viking time Groups are limited to 25 select a group, then have a back-up, & a Back-up If you are on a “closed group list” you are assigned

Science Brain Games Come and Stretch your mind by playing online games! Challenge your ability to reason and strategize while reinforcing different science concepts. Lab C

Design & Craft Group Create a Piece of Art and Express yourself while crafting. Students can bring their own materials if they have a particular craft they want to do. Mindfulness designed coloring sheets will be provided. D-5

Reader’s Theater (Grades 6-8) Do you ever want to escape and be someone else for a while? Join this group to practice your acting skills while performing skits and plays D-6 If you choose this session you will need to attend all 6 sessions.

Study hall grades 6 Need time organizing your life? Study for tests/quizzes Organize your binder Freshen up your notes C-1

Dungeons and dragons (grades 6-8) Do you like to play strategy-based role-play games? Join this group if you want to play dungeons and dragons. No experience needed G-5
