Physical Characteristics Chihuahuas have many physical characteristics, one is their height. They are only 6-9 inches, but they can grow up to 12-15 inches . They only weigh 6 pounds. Long haired Chihuahuas require no trimming.
Scientific Classification They are group 9 section 6 #218 AKC classification. They are considered a toy group they are also acomporites breed, they are also called canis lupis familiaris.
Habitat Chihuahuas like to live in small homes. It makes them comfortable because they’re small . They also don’t like young kids , they just are comfortable with grown ups.
Communication You can’t always know what your Chihuahua is saying. They want to show you what they’re doing by moving around. They use body language to communicate.
Breed They are fiercely loyal to one guardian. They do not like to be in a house with small children. Two breeds of Chihuahuas are part of the Kennel Club in the United Kingdom and the American Kennel club. They are the long-coat and the smooth-coat.
