College Essay Library Work Day Rough Drafts Due

Priorities Okay, Henson. What do I have to do today? Submit your essay via Turnitin. Catch up on Exit Slips. Respond to this poem for Exit Slip #2. Respond to this poem for Exit Slip #3. I’m looking for one full paragraph each, here. Respond personally, academically, or however you like. Just interact with the poem and write it down!

Other Assignments Awesome. Did that stuff. Duh. What’s next? Meet with Mrs. Henson for revisions of your rough draft. Print your marked-on draft for your records. Make strong and substantial revisions, saving your revisions in multiple places. Read your revised essay aloud to yourself. Is it perfect? Have a peer read your revised essay aloud. Ask them for constructive criticism. Continue work on 1984 Vocabulary. (Use Vocabulary.com.)

And More . . . Cool. Did all that. What else? You’re awesome. Use this time to check the website, check your grade, and see if you have late work to turn in. Consider planning to do an extra credit assignment. Read/work silently or peer conference productively with a students still working on the college essay.
