Genesis 1:28: God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase (auxano) in number; fill (plethuno) the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over it.” Ephesians 2:20-22: ...with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is being fitted together and is growing (auxano) into a holy temple in the Lord. Colossians 1:6: ..."in the whole world the word of the gospel is bearing fruit and growing (auxano)... Acts 1:8: ..."Jesus said, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Jerusalem/Judea Acts 6:7: The word of God continued to grow (auxano), and the number of disciples multiplied (plethuno) greatly in Jerusalem. Samaria Acts 12:24: But the word of God continued to spread (auxano) and flourish (plethuno) The Ends of the Earth Acts 19:20: In this way the word of the Lord spread (auxano) widely and grew in power.
