God’s Gift: Reconciled through Christ None have EVER been (nor will ever be) righteous before God by human perfection. Rom. 3:23 Still, nearly all religions have man working his way to some sort of salvation (nirvana, paradise, etc.) The Bible reveals that we stand as condemned sinners before God. Rom. 6:23 In contrast is God’s gift: eternal life.

The love of God… Frees us from sin and eternal condemnation. Controls us to live for God, not unto ourselves. 2 Cor. 5:14-15 Allows us to be the “righteousness of God in Christ”. 2 Cor. 5:21

How Can God’s Grace Be “Received in Vain”? So… How Can God’s Grace Be “Received in Vain”? By no longer believing how we’re saved. This was a problem with some Christians at Corinth. 1 Cor. 15:1-4 This was a problem with many other Christians. Gal. 5:4
