Their Soyuz capsule hurtled back to Earth at 25 times the speed of sound, before landing in Kazakhstan at 09:15 GMT. Approximately 3 hour journey back to Earth. He’s still smiling! The smells of Earth are very strong.

Phoning home to his wife and two sons.

Now he's back on Earth, feeling the force of gravity again, it will take several months for his body to fully recover.
